It was an honor to have met hundreds of admirable nurses when we took to the streets in an ice cream truck to serve you a scoop of gratitude! We were happy to see those smiles and happy faces. Those same smiles you use to brighten up so many lives daily.

We hoped to express some of our deep appreciation for your dedication and sacrifice.

All in all, we distributed more than 2,000 Ice Cream cones in more than thirteen locations in New York and New Jersey!

The Far-Reaching Effect

We were also excited to inspire passersby to realize that this is a time to thank healthcare heroes. An older gentleman accompanied by an Aide passing by stopped us to question why we were doing it. The White Glove truck driver explained the significance of nurse’s week appreciation, White Glove takes this time to stop short and thank nurses with free Ice Cream. The man got emotional and said he must get a gift for his Aide, something he never thought about doing till now!
