Janene King Awarded the Annual Blue Trophy 2023
On January 26th, Colleen Vanhorn, White Glove Chief Executive Officer announced the nomination of Janene King, RN to receive the Annual Blue Trophy Award for 2023.
Janene has been working with White Glove for more than two years and has been a complete bout of inspiration to our teams. “Janene’s passion, caring, and concern for her patients and colleagues is genuinely remarkable.” says Shannah Laufer, White Glove Placement Specialist.”
Colleen Van Horn, White Glove Chief Executive Officer, said in her statement that. “Janene truly exemplifies the values of excellence, sincerity and dedication we highlight at White Glove Placement.”
Janene shares that this past year was the best year of her life, being introduced to local travel possibilities for the first time in January of 2022. Coming from a quiet town in Albany, to a fast-paced assignment in NYC was refreshing. Even more so, the high rates allowed her to stay over at a hotel for the length of her stay making a fine enhancement to her travel experience.
“My goals for 2023 are to explore Real travel nursing in other states like Massachusetts, Michigan, and Pennsylvania because the key to excellence in nursing is to keep learning and getting better at what you are doing. Also, these places have laws for lower nurse to patient ratios which makes it a safer environment for patients.”
